I’m a prof at U of Guelph Humber in Toronto. I have been suspended a year based on a human rights complaint by the vice provost and an Islamist professor (his calling for the elimination of Israel and pro Hamas posts were ignored) in which I responded to someone and called Hamas Nazis. They used the old playbook, inject defamation and demonize enough so that the original charge is forgot (they accused me of assault and other cold lies but when you can’t defend you self because u are banned lies work). I will be fired soon. Guelph will be the first university to fire a prof for saying he stood with Israel because he hurt the feelings of anti Semites. But in the US a prof gets suspended for a week and it’s a national issue. But in Canada I am treated 100x as bad but because anti semitism is so dominant here there is little outcry.

These " academics " are so WARPED in their " thinking " that it's so hard to see how they can ever become rational again. Antisemitism is a horrific blight on the world and has already caused the deaths of millions over many centuries . It's difficult to understand where it came from and how it's so prevalent even today in this modern , enlightened ,allegedly civilized world. As a Christian ,I fully support Israel and the Jewish people, regardless of where they live and every civilized person on this planet should do the same. Shame on these Universities for their craven cowardice and their support for these bloodthirsty lunatics. Thanks for posting. X

Under the Social Justice dispensation, Jews fall on the wrong side of the Friend/Enemy distinction and thus are always wrong and guilty, even if shot or punched while minding their business.

As Social Justice is the official ideology and sacred belief system of American academia and liberals in general (for the most part), Jews will gradually find themselves vilified, demonized and ostracized (unless of course they publicly disavow and perform an act of opposition to the Jewish state.)

Just look at the Columbia administrators who got busted mocking Jews talking about the discrimination they faced on campus, their reflexive hostility and the admission that it was hard for them to keep an open mind—and also keep in mind how different their behavior would be if this were any of their favored Victim classes, how they would be ostentatiously feeling their pain and promising safe spaces all around:

Social Justice considers Jews rich, powerful, colonialist "white" oppressors, which is why they receive no support but only hostility at the Social Justice madrassas of American academia. They are enemies and will be treated as such.

Both for their safety and sanity, American Jews need to boycott the Ivy League and their other fellow travelers: starve them of every cent, whether through tuition or donations.

I appreciate your article, but what does it have to do with unsafe science? I already have sources I read or watch for politics. I subscribed to read about unsafe science. If Unsafe Science is now going to cover political topics, I will unsubscribe.

More substantively, the punishment of Jewish students for raising concerns about antisemitism in their classes is a severe free speech/academic freedom issue, which is one of the core issues I address all the time.

Rutgers faculty union is about to vote on, and, I predict, probably pass, a resolution endorsing BDS. Its not an antisemitism, but my very first post probably explains why:
