How about “Treason Creep”, to denote the constant expansion of what it includes?

Treason: Used by people who have not read the definition in the Constitution for anything done by someone in the Other party which the speaker disapproves of. Both tribes are prone to this.
Heh, I like it. But it needs some wordplay to up its amusement value (ala Alliesheimers, Rigorus Mortus Selectivus and Delusional Constitutionalism).
